I'd visited golf academy in which Byun-dang, Kyung-ki do on 9th April. This academy is only for teaching junior and their parents. I'd got an in-depth interview with an instructor and one junior.
This is what the instructor said:
“The first aim of my lesson is that to make children playing golf funny with their family“
“In my experience, most children seems to playing golf more interesting than other sports”
“The level of satisfaction of going field between April and November is higher than other months”
“Curriculum for children is the same as adult’s curriculum”
“Teaching golf swing is the first lesson. To get interesting in golf is the final step”
“If children have wondering about golf such as attitude of golf, they tend to have a long memory”
“70% children had been started due to their parents’ recommendation”
“80% both children and their parents like playing golf because they can walk and playing together in golf courses”
“Children are interested in use tools in sport”
“I think the level of satisfaction of playing golf of children has been increasing compare to last 5 years”
“Listen to music is effectiveness during golf lesson”
“Sometimes I teach them to self-monitoring by using screen golf machines"
I did note taking during a golf lesson. And I observed junior's behaviour as well as the instructor's behaviour. Even though it was a perfect place to learn to play golf for junior, the education system was the same as the adult education system.
